It’s Free for You

You don't have to know what you want to do. That's the part we work on together.

And it’s paid for by the New Jersey Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS), so it costs you and your family nothing.

Here’s Some of What We Can Work On

Two men are seen on a video call. One on the left is wearing a black shirt, headphones, and a headset microphone, smiling. The other on the right wears glasses and a red shirt, also smiling. The screen displays labels "Support Team" and "James's iPhone."

What a session is like

• You meet your teacher online, on Zoom or Google Meet.

• Sessions are usually up to an hour, based on what works for you.

• Some students meet once a week. Some meet up to five times a week.

• Your teacher already knows the basics of what you're into, based on what you share in your paperwork.

You set the goals. We keep the pace that works for you.

If the teacher match isn't right, tell us and we'll switch it up.

What Success Looks Like Here

You don't have to finish this program with a job.

You don't have to finish with a college acceptance letter either.

But you will finish with more skills than you started with, and a clearer idea of where you're going and how to get there.

Do I qualify?

• If you're 14 to 21 and you have a disability, you qualify.

• An IEP or a 504 plan is all the proof we need.

• Don't have a 504 or IEP? A documented disability that gets in the way of work or school after high school also qualifies. You'll need a note from a medical provider.

• You do not need a Social Security number to be eligible.

Not sure? Just ask. The application has some weird language in it and we help with that part!

Questions We Get a Lot

Do I need a disability to join?

Yes. You need to have a diagnosed disability. You also need to be living in New Jersey and be 14 to 21 years old and in high school.

I'm parenting, dealing with court, or caring for family. Can I still do this?

Yes! We help you learn the skills to make the life you're already living easier for you, no matter your circumstances.

Is this only online?

Yes. And doing it that way means we can meet you on your schedule, wherever you are.

How fast can I get a job?

It depends. We'll start making steps toward that as soon as your paperwork is complete. We'll help you get that done too.
